Actress and a TV presenter Medha Jayarathna (Jayaratne) met with an Accident in Dambulla area. She was an actress of "And Company" of Swarnawahini but she left that teledrama by telling it is too harsh character. She is acting in teledrama “Anawaratha” which is directed by her husband. Her son is also acting in that teledrama.
According to Daillymirror updates she is not injured but three people in her vehicle are with minor injuries.
"An accident involving two jeeps of Deputy Minister of Co-operatives and Internal Trade Basheer Segu Dawood’s convoy, a vehicle belonging to actress Medha Jayaratne, an Army truck and a bus took place at near the Ibbankatuwa ‘S’ junction in Dambulla, Galewela police said.
Three people in actress Jayaratne’s vehicle received minor injuries. The Deputy Minister and Medha Jayaratne were unhurt in the incident." - Source Daillymirror
