Monath Perera was a student of Mahinda College of Galle Sri Lanka. Born in 1983 he is a 28 year old person and unmarried. After his death Sri Lanka Ari-force promoted him to Squadron Leader position from his earlier rank of Flight Lieutenant.
According to his postmortem he had a sudden heart attack on sky while he was participating the rehearsal for 60 th Air force Anniversary.
