MAX TV celebrate its 1st B’day in January 17 2008. Although it is very young TV channel in Sri Lanka it won an international award from International Open University for MAX Medi Care program. The general manager of MAX is Chamuditha Samarawikrama one of famous media personals in Sri Lanka. MAX is very popular in Germany, Canada, Italy and Australia (among Sri Lankans in that country), but it has not island wide coverage in Sri Lanka. But now they have permission from Gov. to expand the transmission and soon whole Sri Lankan will be able to watch MAX.
