Pooja (born 25 June 1981 as Pooja Gautami Umashankar in Sri Lanka) is an actress in Kollywood and the Sinhala film industry. She has a Masters Degree in Business & Management.She is very famous among sri lankan. It is true that sri lankan love her, because there was a deficit in sri lankan cinema of truly talented young star. Many occasion before Pooja Gautami Umashankar coming to sri lankan cinema most of young film casts were done by 35 -45 year old aunties. I do not undermine their talent, they are experts but not young and not suitable to act for young and fresh characters.
